- Chronic neck pain.
- Severe neck pain accompanied by fever, chills, weakness, and weight loss.
- Injury to the cervical spine.
- Numbness, weakness, or a heavy feeling in the limbs.
- Pain radiating down the arms with numbness or weakness.
- Feeling of pins and needles in the arms.
- Twitching in both limbs, poor balance, unable to walk far.
- Inability to control the excretory or urinary system.

- Chronic pain in the middle of the back.
- Severe pain in the middle of the back accompanied by fever, chills, night sweats, weight loss, and night time pain.
- Leg twitching, instability in both legs without spasms in the arms or hands.

- History of chronic back pain for more than 3 months.
- Severe back pain accompanied by fever, chills, weakness, and weight loss.
- Pain radiating down the legs with numbness or weakness.
- Withered legs, arms or leg weakness.
- Uncontrollable limb twitching.
- Pain, numbness, or weakness while walking, unable to walk far.
- Unable to control excretion or numbness in the area around the buttocks or anus.
- Decreased sexual efficiency.
