Dr. Suntchai Wirotsaengthong from M Centre, BNH hospital has been designated as a Center of Excellence for Rezum Water Vapor Therapy – a minimally invasive treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate patients.
Rezum is an office-based procedure in which the water steam is used to destroy the excessive prostatic issues that block the urethra and provide BPH symptom relief without invasive surgery or oral medicine with potential adverse effects.
Its safety and efficacy are recognized and it’s approved by US FDA and also is included in the American Urological Association’s BPH treatment guidelines.
To date, Dr. Suntchai is the third Urologist in Thailand who have reach to high degree of experience with Rezūm Water Vapor Therapy. With this designation, Dr. Suntchai becomes Rezum proctor who is able to provide comprehensive training and guidance to other healthcare professionals about Rezum.
Additionally, he is also the first urologist who performs both Rezum and iTind – the newest minimally invasive treatments for BPH in country.
