BNH Hospital, in collaboration with AstraZeneca (Thailand), has signed a framework for cooperation to establish a network of excellence in comprehensive asthma care by a multidisciplinary team, aiming to enhance the quality of life for Thai children by protecting them from the RSV virus.
Under the initiative “Collaborative Excellence in Multidisciplinary Care Network for RSV and Asthma,” the goal is to foster understanding of the RSV virus and asthma, while providing comprehensive care for patients with a team of professional doctors. This includes advancing the knowledge of healthcare personnel and sharing research insights.
The cooperation involves developing the use of innovative immunoprophylaxis to prevent RSV infection, thereby reducing the risk of viral infection and elevating respiratory disease care to meet international standards. This collaboration was formalized on May 15, 2024.
